Therapists have much to offer the wound care team, but many therapists do not feel adequate in assessing a wound, writing goals, or documenting. This is an Entry to Intermediate level course that outlines what a pressure injury is (and is not), how to assess a pressure injury, what factors may have caused and/or contribute to a pressure injury, and how to write an effective therapy plan of care for the treatment of a patient with a pressure injury.

- Choosing Treatment Diagnosis
- The components of the Therapy evaluation Narrative
- Treatment Documentation and Biophysical Agent billing
- Education and Training of Patient, Staff, Caregivers
- Therapists contribute to the team with Biophysical Agents, Sharps Debridement, and unique knowledge of range of motion, strengthening, mobility, gait, offloading, and return to function
