The HomeCEU Backstory...
In 2005, Brandon and I created HomeCEU.com with the vision to provide convenient and cost-effective online continuing education opportunities for healthcare professionals. As physical therapists ourselves, we had tried traditional continuing education – the kind where you travel to sit in a classroom for a long, drawn-out weekend of frantic note taking, and stale brown bag lunches. Once our son was born, traveling out of town for continuing education, or even participating in local weekend events was no longer an option. After hours of searching online, I discovered online continuing education – a rather new concept at the time. Many of the sites I found were clunky, difficult to use, and provided a meager selection of stale educational opportunities, not to mention limited customer service. We decided right then and there that there had to be a better way! And so, HomeCEU.com was born.
Today...
Today we serve over 100,000 professionals in the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, massage therapy, athletic training, speech-language pathology, and dietetics. Along the way, we’ve become a technology company too – developing our own internal learning management system to provide an excellent customer experience, as well as our media-rich Seminars-On-Demand®, and Live Webinars. All, with the ultimate goal of providing the best continuing educational experience you’ve ever had – while allowing you to save time and money! We have grown from working out of our living room to a team of 20, and we’re not stopping there. What started out as an opportunity to provide quality, convenient continuing education and excellent customer service has cultivated a tight-knit team abiding by our core values:
