This course explains everything you need to know about cardiac conditions and screening, sickle cell trait, mononucleosis, diabetes, heat illness and stroke, infectious disease, pulmonary conditions, steroids and stimulants. - Recognize the severe impact that heat illnesses and SCT can have on the athlete
- Recognize the responsibility as a team physician to ensure the athlete’s safety by screening for these medical conditions
