Healthcare professionals are instructed on the functions of fascia, differentiating between 4 main body tissues, 3 stages of tissue damage and recovery as well as conditions that are indicators for myofascial release. Course Goals:
This course is intended to instruct the professional through a self- paced study on the clinical application for MFR for the upper body.
Professional Objectives:
- Select three functions of fascia.
- Recognize four main types of body tissues.
- Identify three stages of tissue damage and recovery.
- Identify four conditions that are indicators for myofascial release.
- Recognize difference between different myofascial release techniques and use of the appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Code for billing.
