Dr. Melinda Roland, holds a B.A. in Psychology from UCSB, a M.A. in Physical Therapy from Stanford University, and a doctorate in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. She has taught for The Upledger Institute since 1988 and has been in private practice since 1977. She is known for evaluation and treatment of pediatric and adult complex cases. Common complaints treated include pain symptoms, headache, TMJ, low back/neck discomfort, torticollis, developmental delays, autism and learning difficulties, among many others.
Dr. Roland’s unique approach to patient care combines her extensive background in orthopedic and manual therapy, oriental medicine, CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release, homeopathy and energetic healing.
