A new home health payment model being introduced in to the home health arena January 1, 2020. This is a huge change in payment reform for the home health industry. This course will detail out the specifics of this new payment model. Currently home health agencies are paid using PPS model, so this is a brand new model that home health agencies and home health clinicians will need to understand and work through in 2020. Through this course home health clinicians will have a baseline understanding of what the Patient Driven Groupings Model is and how they will be expected to incorporate it into their HH work life come 2020.

- Identify differences in HH PPS in comparison to the future PDGM system.
- Identify the structure of PDGM.
- Identify factors of PDGM responsible for reimbursement.
- Identify LUPAs in PDGM
- Identify potential behavioral adjustments predicted with PDGM
- List the 8 strategies for success with PDGM
