Stephen LaPlante, PT, ATC, is an physical therapist at the Andrews Institute’s rehabilitation center. He is an active speaker at the Andrew Institute’s annual Injuries in Football Conference where he reinforces the importance of rehabilitation of cartilage injuries, Achilles Tendinitis, ACL rehabilitation, and return to field drills following knee injury. He also develops the protocol for the Andrew Institute’s Athletic Performance Division’s Bridge Program to ensure the correct rehabilitation techniques following ACL surgery.
Prior to joining the team at the Andrews Institute, LaPlante was a physical therapist at First Rehabilitation, Baptist Medical Park, in Pensacola, Florida, and PT Today in Lubbock, Texas.
He graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where he earned his master’s of science degree athletic training and physical therapy. He is a licensed physical therapist and holds a NATABOC athletic trainer certification.
