Dr. Patrick Joyner, MD, MS, received his Masters of Microbiology & Cell Science from The University of Florida and his Medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 2007. In addition to being an author of articles covering topics such as “Relative Age-Effect in Olympic Athletes” and “Benefits and effectiveness of Achilles Tendon Lengthening”, Dr. Joyner has served as team physician on numerous high school and university athletic teams, including Duke University’s men’s and women’s soccer teams and the Duke University football team.
Dr. Joyner is currently a resident in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Resident Program and Duke University Medical Center.
