Dr. Jim Kyle’s career as an Emergency Room physician spans 30-plus years. He currently serves as the Emergency Room Medical Director at Beckley ARH Hospital, the EMS Medical Director for Region 1 in West Virginia, the Medical Director of the Paramedic Program at NRCTC, the Medical Director for the Athletic Training Program at Concord University and also serves as the team physician at Concord University running a clinic for the student-athletes.
Dr. Kyle is a sports medicine specialist and has served as a team physician for West Virginia University, Marshall University and Glenville State College. His elite athlete experience includes head physician for the US Soccer Under 17 World Cup championships in Italy and Japan and team physician at Olympic stadium for the Track and Field competition in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a charter member of the prestigious American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and has achieved “Fellowship Status” in the American College of Sports Medicine. As a consultant, he has provided service to School Health Corporation, Medronics Physio-Control, the University of Georgia sports Medicine Department and Emory University.
