Jeremy Bruce, MD is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon who treats musculoskeletal conditions resulting from injury, overuse and arthritis. He has special interests in arthroscopy and total joint replacement. Dr. Bruce earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees in Physical Therapy at Springfield College, where he lettered in football and track. After working for several years as a Physical Therapist he then continued his studies and earned a seat at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine.
After receiving his Doctor of Medicine in 2007, Dr. Bruce went on to perform his orthopaedic residency here at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Chattanooga. He then went on to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at The Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, FL. As a fellow, Dr. Bruce worked side-by-side with renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
While at The Andrews Institute, Dr. Bruce also worked with foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Erik Nilssen, which gave him additional experience with arthroscopic and open treatment of foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Bruce spent time with reverse total shoulder specialist, Dr. Chris O’Grady which provided exposure to total hip, knee and shoulder arthroplasty.
