Elise T. Gordon, MD is board certified in family medicine with a certificate of additional qualification in primary care sports medicine. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal injuries. Additionally, she manages chronic illnesses that may affect athletic performance such as fatigue, hormonal issues, diabetes and asthma, and has a special interest in treating pregnant athletes and dancers.
Elise spent a great deal of time in Naval Hospitals where she studied general surgery, family medicine, and primary care sports medicine. She served as staff family and sports medicine physician at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, and as senior medical officer and founder of the sports medicine and reconditioning team for Naval Air Technical Training Center. Dr. Elise Gordon’s current role is director of the primary care sports medicine fellowship program at the Andrews Institute.
