Louisiana PTs and PTAs need 30 hours.
Deadline:
CE due March 31st of even or odd years, based on licensees birth year.
Home Study Limit:
No more than 15 hours shall be home study, internet or online courses. This excludes jurisprudence. (In response to COVID-19, the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board is allowing online courses to substitute for live courses during the 2021 renewal period. There is no home study limit for the 2021 renewal cycle.)
Additional Information:
Courses must be 2 hours long.
Minimum of 2 hours jurisprudence.
Minimum of 2 hours ethics.
Minimum of 18 hours must be clinical/preventative.
Maximum of 8 hours may be administrative.
