Must use 2 of the 13 categories of CEU’s in WAC 246-847-065(4) to complete the 30 hours:
- (4)(a) Text and pre-recorded video are considered continuing education coursework (home study).
- (4)(e) Live webinars are considered interactive online courses.
A portion of the required hours must be completed in both types of coursework.
A minimum of 20 hours must be directly related to the practice of occupational therapy. Any remaining hours may be in professional development activities that enhance the practice of the licensed occupational therapist or licensed occupational therapy assistant.
3 hours of training every 6 years in suicide assessment is required.
7 hours AIDS training is required for initial licensure only.
