Additional Information:
At least 16 hours of principles and procedures required.
No more than 8 hours of role-related activities if using internet based courses.
Maintenance of current NBCOT certification fulfills the requirements for continuing competency.
PAMS Certification:
15 hours. 5 must be in ultrasound, 5 must be in electrical stimulation, and 5 can mix and match. Must meet requirements of Competency Requirements for Physical Agent Modalities chapter 6, (4) and (5).
