Neurological Rehabilitation: Motor Control, Motor Learning, and Recovery, and Neurological Rehabilitation: Treatment Planning and Treatment Strategies are brought to us in cooperation with Suzanne Tinsley, recent Rehab Rally speaker, and continuing education author.
Neurological Rehabilitation: Motor Control, Motor Learning, and Recovery is a 6 contact hour video based course. Neurological Rehabilitation: Motor Control, Motor Learning, and Recovery focuses on an intro to neurological rehab, motor control, motor learning, recovery of function, and assessment and treatment of postural control and balance.  Both courses include in-depth demonstrative video, as well as detailed images for enhanced learning.

Neurological Rehabilitation: Treatment Strategies and Treatment Planning is also a 6 contact hour video-based course, and focuses on an clinical strategies of gait training for the neurologically impaired, treatment and intervention of stroke, Parkinson’s, MS and incomplete SCI, as well as treatment strategies and treatment planning for patients with MS, Parkinson’s, and post-stroke patients.

About the Continuing Education Author - Dr. Tinsley
Dr. Tinsley, Ph.D., PT, NCS received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1986 and her Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport in 1999.  She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport.  Dr. Tinsley teaches medical pharmacology in the School of Allied Health Professions, School of Graduate Studies and School of Medicine.  Dr. Tinsley is an APTA Board Certified Neurologic Physical Therapist and has presented nationally at APTA conferences as well as numerous continuing education seminars on the topic of pharmacology and rehabilitation.  She currently serves as Chair of the Stoke SIG, Neurology Section, APTA.  She has an active clinical practice in the area of neurological rehabilitation as well as an active clinical research agenda.
