NBCOT Renewal: How Easy It Can Be!
Did you know that you can complete your entire NBCOT renewal continuing education requirement without ever having to leave your home? Did you also know that any courses taken through an AOTA approved provider (Like us!) earns you 25% more credit towards your requirement?
How can me make this outrageous claim? Easy!
As an AOTA approved provider, HomeCEUConnection.com PDUs have a conversion rate of 1 contact hour : 1.25 PDU. That means you only need to complete 29 contact hours with us and it will count as 36 PDUs for your NBCOT renewal. You can confirm your PDU amounts using the NBCOT’s conversion calculator. And since our occupational therapy continuing education courses are now mobile friendly, you’re not shackled to a desk or classroom.
Does it get better? Yes!
To make it even easier for you, we have OT Flex Packages filled with our most popular occupational therapy continuing education courses. OT flex packages let you mix premium text and video courses to create a customized learning package. Flex packages are available in 12, 29 and 36-hour options. Using the promo code “NBCOT10″ helps you save even more off the individual course prices:
Other things to remember to make life easier
The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification is granted for a 3-year period if all requirements are met by the scheduled renewal date. The 2017 on-time renewal period ends on March 31, 2017 at 11:59pm EST. The NBCOT highly recommends that therapists aim for a March 16th submission deadline instead as applications received less than 15 days prior to the renewal deadline may not be processed by the March 31st due date.
The NBCOT certification requires at least 36 Professional Development Units (PDUs) accrued during the 3 year renewal cycle for both Registered Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Not due this year? Why wait! HomeCEUConnection.com courses have a 1-year expiry date. So those flex packages can be bought now and completed later. Sweet!
