Do you need live physical therapy continuing education courses? Read on to find out your state CE requirements, and how to get live CEUs fast (without traveling)!
Once again, the time has come to take online or live physical therapy continuing education courses in order to renew your physical therapy or physical therapy assistant license. But, it’s difficult for many therapists to find time to take live CEs in order to continue in careers as PTs and PTAs. And, with an increase in patient loads, new friends, family, and even traffic, time is a precious commodity!
Right now, let’s just get this out of the way…
Out of you.
There is no real “good commute.” But, I digress. I think you know where I’m going with this: because of your dedication, you’re going to get those live PT CEUs done, no doubt about it. The good news is that in many cases, you have avenues available to you without resorting to commuting! Or, if you really, really have to get away from the house (ahem, the kids), the nearest coffee shop or library down the street will suffice.
What are live physical therapy continuing education courses? What are interactive CE courses?
Live is a continuing education course where the instructor is actively teaching a class, similar to a classroom scenario. Interactive means that it is a live continuing education course where you can interact with the teacher and your fellow coursemates. In many applications, the difference between live and interactive is a matter of splitting hairs and, at times, interchangeable. Other terms for live CEUs include “distant learning”, “home study limit”, “online limitations”, CEU Categories, or CEU Classes – the terminology ranges from state to state, and even region to region.
The bottom line is YOU NEED LIVE CEUs, and we are here to help! At HomeCEU, we offer live, interactive webinars – perfect for the busy professional who doesn’t have time to travel to expensive on-site classes. Our webinars meet the live, interactive requirements for multiple states and professions. Be sure to check your CEU rules here or look for your state listed below to find out how you can meet your live PT/PTA continuing education needs from the comfort of your own home (or the coffee shop)!
