The HomeCEUConnection.com backstory...

In 2005, Brandon and I created HomeCEUConnection.com with the vision to provide convenient and cost effective online continuing education opportunities for rehabilitation professionals. As physical therapists ourselves, we had tried traditional continuing education - the kind where you travel to sit in a classroom for a long, drawn-out weekend of frantic note taking, and stale brown bag lunches. Once our son was born, traveling out of town for continuing education, or even participating in local weekend events was no longer an option. After hours of searching online I discovered online continuing education - a rather new concept at the time. Many of the sites I found were clunky, difficult to use, and provided a meager selection of stale educational opportunities, not to mention limited customer service. We decided right then and there that there had to be a better way! And so, HomeCEUConnection.com was born.

Today we serve over 65,000 therapists in the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, athletic training, and speech-language pathology. Along the way, we've become a technology company too - developing our own internal learning management system to provide an excellent customer experience, as well as our media-rich Seminars-On-Demand®, and Live Webinars. All, with the ultimate goal of providing the best continuing educational experience you've ever had - while allowing you to save time and money! We have grown from working out of our living room to a team of 17, and we're not stopping there. What started out as an opportunity to provide quality, convenient continuing education and excellent customer service has cultivated a tight-knit team abiding by the following core values:

Brandon Osborn

Brandon Osborn, MPT, Owner, CEO

Brandon is a 1999, Masters of Science in Physical Therapy graduate of Texas Tech University. An entrepreneur at heart, Brandon was first to recognize a need for convenient, quality continuing education. It was this recognition of need which has driven HomeCEUConnection.com to the technological forefront in the delivery of continuing education, and subsequent vision for CEU360.com. It is his drive that permeates throughout HomeCEUconnection.com and CEU360.com in our pursuit of “Relentless Forward Motion.” 


Anne OsbornAnne Osborn, MPT, Owner, Director of Quality

Embodying our 1st Core Value, “Deliver a Smile Through Service,” Anne has become the face of HomeCEUConnection.com and CEU360.com. Leading the efforts to ensure the quality of our service and product, Anne sets the standard by which our team strives. Having graduated in 1999 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, Anne quickly established herself as both a compassionate clinician and astute leader while practicing in a broad spectrum of clinical settings.



Shane EverettShane Everett, OT, Chief Operations Officer

Shane is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. Shane joined the team in August of 2008 after serving as VP of Hospital (Rehab) Operations for Peoplefirst Rehabilitation (PFR). Prior to PFR, he was with HealthSouth Rehabilitation serving many roles over eight years, including Hospital Chief Executive Office and Regional Director of Operations.



DeAndrea Laub - Director of MarketingDeAndrea Laub, Director of Operations

DeAndrea leads the day-to-day operations and growth of HomeCEUConnection.com with a focus on service and innovation. DeAndrea’s experience includes the creation of process strategies to maximize efficiencies for long-term growth of the company through the use of marketing tactics within every department. Particularly drawn to the startup environment, DeAndrea enjoys the fast paced environment and culture of the start up process. DeAndrea received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in English, with a concentration in Technical Writing and a Certificate in Leadership from Southern Methodist University.


Patrick Cummins - CIOPatrick Cummins, Chief Information Officer

Patrick is responsible for ensuring the most appropriate use of IT for all initiatives. Prior to joining the HomeCEUConnection.com team Patrick worked as a Senior Manager of Web Development for one the countries first accredited private schools offering 100% online K through 12 education. He also worked as Director of IT for one of the countries largest medical spending account administrators. This wide range of experience between Fortune 50 companies and first year startups is a key asset in ensuring that our technology processes and platforms will meet our current and rapidly evolving future needs.


Shirley Aycock, DNP, RN, Director of QualityShirley Aycock, DNP, RN, Director of Quality

Shirley Aycock, DNP, RN, is a Registered Nurse who has spent the majority of her nursing career serving in a variety of leadership roles. Over the past several years her leadership focus has shifted from managing acute care adult medical-surgical units to oversight of educational endeavors within the acute care hospital environment. She serves as Lead Nurse Planner and Director of Quality; responsible for the planning, development, and evaluation of education activities for continuing education and oversight of the Provider Unit status and key quality indicators.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from University of Texas at Arlington, a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from University of Texas at Tyler, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Aycock was also an adjunct faculty member at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, TX and University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently serving as President of Texas Nurses Association District 25.
