BioMechanical Voice Therapy, The Basics

Course Description

Many patients come to Speech-Language Pathologists as swallowing patients and then an underlying voice disorder is uncovered. This is most commonly due to shared musculature. What do you do?  Refer or treat?

This course covers the basics of a biomechanical approach to accurate and objective voice assessment and treatment, which is non invasive, accurate, and does not require instrumentation. A detailed program of voice therapy is shared using a step by step approach which is easy to follow and is also adaptable for use with children in voice therapy.

This Seminar-on-Demand is 4 contact hours in length (check your state’s approval status in the state specific course catalog for your profession).
