Coping with Poststroke Depression and Cognitive Changes

Course Description

Depression and cognitive problems following a stroke are many times not fully understood and addressed accordingly.  This leads to greater frustration for the patient as well as the caregiver leading to more problems moving forward.  This can affect not only immediate rehabilitation but also long term recovery.  If not addressed it can also increase the risk of mortality for the stroke survivor.
