Course Description

This course focuses on spinal cord injury assessment and care in line with current research, technology and practice. Presented by two highly skilled and experienced physicians, the course examines current motor control and motor learning theories driving the paradigm shift in SCI rehab, American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) classifications, medical sequelea, and assessment tools across the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model.Case studies are used to promote synthesis of this information in both inpatient and outpatient examples.
